We at the Barah Center for Legal and Democratic Studies are pleased to announce the launch of the first session of “Towards Confident Maturity,” a program implemented in collaboration with the Women Around the World Organization (WAW).
The program targets adolescent girls and boys aged 13 to 17, and runs over one month for each group, with four weekly sessions designed to provide comprehensive educational and psychological support during this crucial life stage.
The program focuses on:
- Enhancing self-awareness and self-esteem.
- Understanding the psychological and physical changes of adolescence.
- Building essential life skills in communication and decision-making.
- Promoting personal safety awareness.
The first session of the first group witnessed excellent engagement from both participants and their parents, in a safe and encouraging space for open dialogue and mutual support.
We look forward to continuing this journey with future groups, believing in the importance of empowering adolescents to grow with confidence and awareness.
