As part of the Barah Canon Program and under the umbrella of the Justice and Gender Project, the Barah Center for Legal and Democratic Studies, in partnership with the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), has established the Sudanese Women Lawyers Association.
The association aims to create a unifying framework for Sudanese women lawyers to promote social justice, advance gender equality, and support women’s legal participation in peacebuilding and democratic transition.
This establishment represents a milestone towards empowering Sudanese women in the legal field and building a professional solidarity network that contributes to defending rights and strengthening the rule of law.
