As part of the Kanon Barah Program, the Barah Center for Legal and Democratic Studies organized an awareness-raising session titled “The Journey of Warda” for 140 female students at Al-Danagla North Intermediate School Gedaref State.
The session accompanied the girls in understanding the natural changes they experience during puberty, focusing on self-care, building confidence, and promoting health awareness, within a supportive and safe environment free from shame or stigma.
Barah Center believes that knowledge is a form of protection, and that safe and open dialogue helps create girls who are more confident, reassured, and empowered to understand themselves and advocate for their health and dignity.
